RED FIT

YOU GO GIRL!

Se filmen her: No blood should hold us back!

World Cup finals

Right after X Games Oslo, we flew down do Switzerland to compete in the World Cup finals in Silvaplana. This is probably one of my favorite events, but unfortunately this week it wasn´t. The weather forecast wasn´t looking to good, so they had to move the qualifiers. Which ment we only had one practice day. Again, […]

X Games, Oslo

So, two weeks ago this happened!! I told you guys I would try to keep you updated, but early in the week I figured I just had to leave my computer back home and move down to a hotel closer to the Big Air at Tøyen. I didn´t think it would be that busy, but […]

South Korea

I´m really sorry for not updating the blog lately, but It´s been a really hectic week. We arrived in South Korea last Monday, after a 48 hour long travel. Boston – New York – Munich – Oslo – London – Seoul. That´s the longest travel I´ve ever had. Training was already happening the next day […]

3rd place!

Yesterday was probably one of craziest days I´ve had on skis so far. Imagine yourself standing on top of a 42 m high scaffolding jump in front of 15 000 people. I´d never thought that would ever happen, but yesterday it did. I don´t think I´ve ever been as nervous as I was before finals, […]

Exploring Boston

So, today I really felt like a tourist. Since we had the day off, I decided I wanted to check out some of the recommendations I got. We had lunch at this place called the Eastern Standard. I´ve never had oysters or clams before, so I figured, since we´re in Boston, the city of seafood, […]

Fenway Park, Boston

On Tuesday we arrived in Boston for the Big Air competition at Fenway Park. For those of you who don´t know, Fenway Park is a baseball park. And since 1912, it has been the home of the Boston Red Sox, who have won eight World Series championships. Which means, they´re pretty damn good! Yesterday we registered […]

Back in Breckenridge

We´re back in Breckenridge for the week, trying to get some training done before the Big Air goes down in Boston. My body has been feeling really sore and tired after the week in Aspen, so I took the past days off. I had a lot of things going on the whole week with training, […]

Bio

Skiing is my passion, and growing up in a ski family at Geilo made the choice easy. I was born to be a skier.

I got my first pair og twintips when I was 11. And from early on, I was inspired by what the guys where doing and I followed them into the park.

At the age of 14 I competed outside of Norway for the first time and in 2013 I ended up winning the X Games in Aspen, which has been my biggest goal since I started skiing. In 2014 I had a bad knee injury, and it took me a year to get back on snow. Now I travel over 200 days a year, mostly together with the Norwegian Team, training, competing and filming.

My club, Geilo IL, the Norwegian Top sport Gymnasium (NTG) in Lillehammer, the Norwegian Freeski Team, and the Olympic Sport Center in Norway have all played a big role in my career. Back in Geilo, at the resort my grandpa build, a dream is coming through having a terrain park named up after me.. I am so excited to see "Tiril Parken" grow and I look forward to ski there with my friends in between all the traveling.
